Come on in, Let me tell you all about us!
Our mission at C.L.A.T. is to help children become more emotionally aware, confident, and expressive individuals by creating positive learning experiences that support social-emotional development in fun, relatable, and meaningful ways.
We want every child to know that their feelings matter, their voice matters, and who they are matters. Through creativity, encouragement, and intentional learning, we aim to help children build lifelong skills they can carry into friendships, family life, school, and the future.
Our Story
C.L.A.T., which stands for Children Learning About Themselves, was created to give children a positive environment where they can learn, grow, and develop the tools they need to better understand themselves and the world around them. The vision for C.L.A.T. was inspired by both professional experience and real-life parenting moments that showed just how important emotional support, healthy communication, and coping skills are in a childβs everyday life.
What began as a personal mission to pour into children with care, patience, and guidance has grown into a heartfelt community for families who want more than entertainment alone. C.L.A.T. is about helping children build a strong emotional foundation through engaging, age-appropriate content that speaks to their hearts and minds.
Who We Serve
C.L.A.T. is designed for children ages 4β10, along with the parents, guardians, and families who guide them. Our content is created to meet children where they are while helping them grow in self-awareness, confidence, communication, and emotional understanding.
This is a space for families who want their children to learn through positive messages, uplifting stories, interactive activities, and experiences that support both personal growth and emotional well-being.
What Youβll Find Inside C.L.A.T.
Inside the C.L.A.T. community, families can look forward to engaging content designed to help children learn in exciting and meaningful ways. From inspiring stories and creative activities to games, contests, and emotional learning tools, each experience is built to encourage children to think, express, and grow.
Our goal is to make social-emotional learning feel approachable, joyful, and empowering so that children can build confidence while discovering more about themselves
Meet the Founder: Diamond Taylor
Hi, Iβm Diamond Taylor, founder of C.L.A.T. Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, and now based in Mississippi, I bring more than 12 years of experience in the healthcare field, along with experience working as a youth counselor supporting adolescents ages 10β17 who have faced behavioral and emotional challenges. Most importantly, I am a proud mother of four.
My personal and professional journey has taught me the value of emotional awareness, healthy self-expression, and giving children the space to feel seen, heard, and supported. Through my work with youth and my own children, I saw how powerful it can be when children are taught how to recognize their emotions, communicate their feelings, and practice healthy coping skills in everyday life.
That passion is what led me to create C.L.A.T. β a space where children can feel encouraged, families can feel supported, and emotional growth can become part of everyday learning.
Why C.L.A.T. Matters
Life changes and emotional challenges can affect children deeply, and sometimes the most meaningful support begins at home. Experiences within my own family helped shape the vision behind C.L.A.T. and reminded me that when children are given the right tools, they can learn how to talk through their feelings, develop coping strategies, and grow stronger through lifeβs transitions.
C.L.A.T. exists to be a trusted, uplifting space where children and families feel supported on that journey.
